徒歩で日本縦断の旅 Walking Across Japan 59

To mark the moment of reaching halfway across Japan, I went to Takaoka—the hometown of Fujiko F. Fujio, whose work has quietly shaped me over the years.

Originally, I had planned to walk there from Hakuba. But I realized it would take me in the opposite direction—away from the north, away from Hokkaido.

After crossing the mountains, my body was no longer keeping up.

So, I took the Shinkansen and brought back a commemorative pin, attaching it to my cart as a small mark of this moment.
