徒歩で日本縦断の旅 Walking Across Japan 61
Yesterday, while walking along the coastline, I noticed the beach was closed off—there was no one in sight.
Then, in the distance, I spotted a small figure moving along the shore.
As I got closer, I saw it was a woman, digging into the stones with a shovel. At first, I thought she was picking up trash. Curious, I climbed over the fence and walked toward her.
She explained that she was searching for interesting rocks. The shovel, she said, was simply a tool to collect them without having to bend over. She told me she had moved here because this area is known for its unique stones.
