徒歩で日本縦断の旅 Walking Across Japan 69

With the help of locals, they hitchhiked me here.
Normally, I don’t hitchhike.

Only under certain circumstances—
emergency,
or when I meet people along the journey and feel like I want to spend more time with them.

Then I’ll accept the ride.

Where they drop me off depends entirely on them.
I don’t ask.

Usually it’s short—
maybe 1 to 15 minutes of driving.

Just a small stretch of the road,
shared for a moment.
